Study scope for this environmental scan was divided into seven following areas:
- Learning, developing and leading
- Volunteering
- Engaging socially
- Participating and deciding
- Living comfortably
- Accessing health services
- Accessing support in crisis and emergencies.
For each of the seven areas above, Intermethod completed in-depth scoping, which included:
- research and analysis of data and trends into social factors affecting the capacity of our communities to develop equitably
- state and federal government policy directions
- development of suggested areas/directions that the Community Capacity Strategic Plan should cover.
The study, including staff workshop and meetings, was delivered within a challenging four-week timescale.
