The role of streets has been rapidly evolving with the growing need to better understand and cater for multiple functions (mobility, active travel and exercise, social interaction, communication, local economy, recreation, etc). We help clients establish the right questions that a design needs to answer, by assessing street performance and seeking user perspectives through a variety of engagement techniques. We have international expertise in developing and applying the Movement and Place approach to shaping street design, to derive balanced outcomes through movement and placemaking. Our interdisciplinary team works through considerations to develop a balanced solution that creates a better environment for all street users. We have practitioners with a working knowledge of land use, social interactions, infrastructure requirements and urban architecture to ensure a fully considered design response
